Also known as Ruie Willis “Boots” Taylor Jr. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DECEMBER 19, 1944 – OCTOBER 9, 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boots was a free-spirited, sly fox and inspiration to many people. He lived close to the land, travelled the United States and World.
He could be found often in Arkansas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, & Hawaii. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you met Boots, you know it! Many people have enjoyed his poetry, his wit, humor, and sharing a smoke and a coffee with him while talking story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man, could Boots tell some incredible stories!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m Looking to Gather Boots’ Stories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I would like to help gather together Boots’ stories, poetry, and other ways he touched people’s lives. My goal is to assemble them and likely create a graphic novel. Since Boots isn’t with us any longer to tell us how he wants his biography to be read I’d like to keep it framed around the way other folks saw him and shared time with him or specific stories about his life that he shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He had some very wild stories, free man stories, outlaw stories, and living the good life stories, sharing them would be a small way I imagine getting another moment with that sly old fox. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n

He was a man of very few photographs as I recall, but I know a few lucky folks have been pictured with the Poet. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
